Community & Customer Care Coordinator
Wildelore is looking for someone kind, thoughtful, and dependable to help care for our customers and community.
We're a small Canadian brand rooted in the belief that motherhood is richer when lived outside. We create clothing and resources that help mothers spend more time outdoors with their children, and we care deeply about how people feel when they interact with our business.
This is a flexible, part-time role that will begin by focusing on customer care and has the potential to grow alongside the business over time.
What you'll be doing
-
Responding to customer emails with warmth, clarity, and care
-
Helping customers with sizing, orders, shipping questions, returns, and product information
-
Managing customer conversations through Shopify and Gorgias
-
Keeping track of common questions and helping us improve repeat processes
-
Using digital tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
-
Flagging recurring customer questions or opportunities to improve the customer experience
There may also be opportunities to support social media/content creation, or other community areas such as our Facebook group, depending on your interests and experience.
We're looking for someone who...
-
Is based in Canada
-
Is an excellent written communicator
-
Is warm, empathetic, organized, and reliable
-
Can communicate professionally while maintaining warmth
-
Is comfortable working independently
-
Is confident learning and using online tools
-
Has experience with Shopify, e-commerce, or customer service
-
Has experience with Gorgias or another customer support platform, or is willing to learn
-
Genuinely connects with Wildelore's mission and community
Hours and flexibility
This role is flexible.
As a small founder-led business, our customer-service needs naturally ebb and flow throughout the year. Some weeks may be quieter, while others—particularly around the fall and holiday seasons—may be busier.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable with that rhythm and excited to grow alongside the business over time.
To apply
Please email Carissa at carissa@wildelore.com before August 1st with:
-
A short introduction about yourself
-
Why you're interested in the role
-
Any relevant customer service, Shopify, e-commerce, Gorgias, or administrative experience
-
Your general availability
-
Your hourly rate or expected compensation
If you have experience with social media support/content creation, please mention that as well. While customer care is the primary focus of this role, there may be opportunities to expand into this area if your experience is well suited.
We may ask selected applicants for a short writing sample later in the hiring process.
We're far more interested in finding someone thoughtful, capable, and genuinely aligned with the way Wildelore cares for its community than we are in finding the "perfect" résumé.
**Bonus points if you don't use AI to write your email, résumé, or application. We'd love to hear your own voice. 🙂
We look forward to hearing from you.
- Carissa
PS: Please note that I may not be able to respond to everyone who applies. Life is currently so full with two under 2. Thank you for understanding!
